Immigration and official matters 

Immi = to apply for and update details of your student visa.

VEVO = to check the status of your student visa.

MyGov = to manage various government services. Particularly important to students are the IHI (health) and ATO (taxation) services.

 

Make sure you are aware of your nearest Malaysian high commission/consulate for official matters that may involve the Malaysian government.

 

These include passport renewals and replacements or emergency evacuations during natural disasters (e.g. Queensland floods).

  1. Students in Sydney may contact Education Malaysia Australia (EMA) which operates similarly to a consulate: https://www.ema.org.au/
